I aspire to create work which stimulates the imagination and also maintains usefull purpose. Using clay, I attempt to discover and explore the relationship between surface, form, and function. I’m intrigued and inspired by the repetition of lines, shapes, and colors that I see existing in nature, and continue to incorporate these natural patterns into my work.
Hello people this is my new blog..... first blog. Welcome! This pot was made on the potters wheel, carved and decorated with black slip. The pot was then fired in a wood kiln to 2300° F. The kiln was constantly stoked with wood for three days.
